Kathy Smith has been planning extraordinary events for over 20 years! After she went to culinary school, she began dreaming up visions of how to celebrate people's lives. As a mother of 3, she wanted to spend as much time as possible with her kids as they grew up, so she became a teacher. She taught at a K-8 school, then at a private high school where she met Lizzy, who was one of her first students.

 

Lizzy Pintarich met Kathy when she took her leadership course in high school (the course focused on planning events). There she began envisioning different career paths to pursue - One to work in professional sports, and another to become a teacher like Kathy! After Lizzy worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kathy offered her the role she had at the high school. Lizzy happily accepted, and after a year of teaching Lizzy felt that she was supposed to do something different, but what...?
